All internships last three months!

All internships with United 4 Social Change are unpaid. We are also going to hire some part-time writers to help us create unique content, but the internship is a prerequisite for it.

1. Weekly Writer

We are currently looking for weekly writers. You will be expected to write once a week.

2. Writing Internship

We are currently looking for interns. You will be expected to write twice a week. You will receive a letter of recommendation and certificate upon completion of the internship.

3. Editor Internship

Highly motivated students should consider applying for this position. You will be responsible for managing a set of writers. This includes managing publishing schedules, re-reading work before it hits the Editor-in-Chiefs desk, and assigning new topics. You will also be responsible for writing once a week. Our senior editors will help you learn how to write editorial-style pieces and help you find your voice in writing.

Time: You will be required to commit at least 4 hours a week to this internship. We are flexible about when you do the work, but you must commit to do it.

Deadline: We take applications at any time, but we start work with new interns on the first of the month.

Requirements: You must write an article every week, and edit 5 articles a week to fulfill the requirements of the program. You will be required to submit work by every Sunday. You can submit it earlier if you wish.
